Experimental Watermedia Workshop
All you need are a few supplies, imagination and willingness to experiment! Experiment with a combination of media such as watercolor, acrylic, gouache, wax, modeling paste, pastel, gesso, colored pencil, oil crayon, rice papers, wax crayon, metallic powders, metallic papers, wax paper, cheesecloth, watercolor pencils, ink, and alcohol. Have fun painting your ideas onto paper or canvass with new approaches: stencil, collage, spray, print, mask, sponge, resist, press plastic sheets, and much more! Place various papers and objects into wet paint to produce fabulous textures. The goal is to make art that stretches your imagination by engaging intensely in the process of painting.
